AIR FRANCE

The reason we chose Air France for our to Japan in April 2025 is that it is th only airline in France that offers a direct flight from Paris to Osaka.

Air France is a Skytrax four stars airlines and below is our review from our flight Paris-Osaka (AF 292) on April 11 2025 and Tokyo-Paris (AF 187) on April 25, 2025.

• Checking in with Air France at the Roissy-CDG in Paris was in style of do it yourselves and if you do need help you can call one of the Air France staffs to assist you: 5/10

• The lounge at the Yotel at Roissy-CDG came with a very small offering of foods and beverages: 3/10

• The boarding and the flight were 40 minutes late as usual: 5/10

• The plane was a Boeing 787-10 looked clean and well maintained : 7/10.

• The seats were in the middle room had enough leg room with a good a fluffy pillow and a warm blanket:  5/10.

• The entertainment system was displayed on a 11 inches screen and had a limited choice of films, music and TV shows: 5/10.

• The food and the drinks were a big let down when you know that France always claims to be the first culinary country in the world : 4/10.

• The crew on board were very arrogant and they gave  you the impression they were working in Versailles and if you do not need anything you come to see them : 3/10.

Overall rating of our outbound flight: 5,5/10.

Our return flight from Tokyo in Haneda to Roissy-CDG on Friday April 25, 2025 was one hour late as usual with Air France :

• _{^{Checking in Tokyo was a battle, the reason was for the past two years Air France has been practicing a nasty policy of charging customers extra money to choose their seats and if you do not pay and you are travelling with your family or friends they will scattered you around the plane so you cannot seat next to each other. We have to fight with the Air France for them to put my partner and our son together on the same row: 0/10.}}

• The boarding and the flight were one hour late as usual: 2/10.

• The plane, a Boeing 777-300 ER looked old and were down:  2/10

• The seats were in the back room had enough leg room with a fluffy pillow and a warm blanket:  5/10.

• The entertainment system was displayed on a 11 inches screen and had a limited choice of films, music and TV shows: 5/10.

• The food and the drinks were more correct than our outbound trip to Osaka: 3/10.

• The crew on-board looked were more helpful than the outbound flight: 5/10.

 Overall rating of our return flight: 3/10.

This is our last time ever that we flight with this horrible airline company and our advice is if you can avoid flying with Air France, you should do it without any hesitation.
