Riva, a beautiful and fine dining restaurant, can be found at the Hotel Vista in Numana.
Let's start from the beginning: It took us forty five minutes to drive from Senigallia to Numana. Discovering the restaurant's location and entrance was an epic task. Once we arrived at the reception, the host of the restaurant mentioned to us that they did not have any reservation under our name and at the same moment we realized that we had made a mistake in our reservation, we had reserved the wrong date.
The chef and his staff were gracious enough to welcome us for dinner and arrange a table for three right next to their kitchen.
Antonio Lerro is a thirty-two-year-old young chef at Riva. Antonio Lerro was trained by Alain Solivares in Taillevent, and he also worked with Philippe Mille in Reims before returning to Italy to showcase his talent at Riva.
Two menus were proposed by the chef: Persorco Adriatico (6 courses for 85 Euros) and Oltri I Confini (8 courses for 100 Euros). Persorco Adriatico was our choice and the cooking and the meal were excellent. The dessert Rocia e Mare (Pascassanto sorbet and 70% Guanaja chocolate in various textures) was the only dish we found that did not meet the high standards of fine dining.
The restaurant's wine list was extensive and amazing, with a variety of non-alcoholic wines and cocktails.
Our hostess Laura provided exceptional service, being kind, warm, smooth, and extremely professional.
The Riva restaurant at the View hotel is a must-visit in Numana.
