Castelo de Pedregosa

Castelo de Pedregosa is situated in Sant Sadurní in the Penedès wine region , a one-hour drive from Barcelona .

Pedregosa offers visitors not only great cava and wines to taste but also lunch and dinner.   Two dining venues exist in the area, Umbra, catering to a more sophisticated palate, and La Carmeta, offering a casual atmosphere for tapas and wine tasting.

We lunch at La Carmeta, a wonderful space with a magnificent terrace overlooking the incredible vineyard of the Castelo de Pedregosa.

The wonderful location and the captivating conversation made us forget to photograph our tapas.

The tapas were excellent and flavorful, with the cava being exceptionally high-quality; some could even be on par with French Champagne.

The service was enthusiastic, swift, and fresh.

Pedregosa Castle is highly recommended when visiting the Penedès region.
