Georgie Bistro

Georgie Bistro was the top restaurant we ate at during our vacation in Slovenia . Gregor Jelnikar's cuisine was influenced by his travels , and the lunch menu was exceptional in terms of pricing and offerings .

Eating a full lunch that cost 32 euros was like receiving a gift. Each dish was perfectly cooked and presented, and the portion served was more than generous.

Our two entries, Gravlax of cured trout with creme cheese, smoky beetroot, and roasted shrimp cocktail with romaine lettuce, kohlrabi, and shrimp toss, were tasty and delicious. The Glazed beef cheeks with potato puree, roast vegetables, dice glaze, and pork belly with peanut butter glaze, potato terrine, and vadon sauce were all cooked perfectly.   The Vanilla milk rice, Rum Sabayon, dark chocolate mousse, and stuffed rice were the perfect ending to a very satisfying first lunch in Lubljana, Slovenia.

Big gourmet travelers can experience three types of degustation experiences at Georgie Bistro:  9 - courses "full experience" ; 7 - courses Omakase or the 5 courses Omakase.

Our sommelier and waiter provided us with two excellent non-alcoholic drinks, which made the wine list and non-alcoholic beverages outstanding..

The service was pleasant, professional, and enjoyable.
