When we visited the famous caves in Postojna, we found that the Michelin and Gault & Millau guides highly recommended Bistro Storja. For our final meal in Postojna, we made the decision to reserve the restaurant.

Our lunch was quite a deal; it was 25 euros for a starter, main dishes, and a dessert.

The lunch started with an amuse-bouche of small parmesan brioches, then the beef broth, which was suave and delicate. Our three main dishes, the salmon fillet, the pork cheeks, and the roasted cabbage, were all good and perfectly cooked. Finally, the dessert, a panna cotta with red fruits and chocolate crumble, was the ideal ending.

The wine list is amazing; our orange wine called Retro, a 2022 bottle from the vineyard named Klet Gurila, was smooth and enjoyable.

The service was nice and smiling.

Bistro Storja is a good address to have lunch or dinner while in Postojna.
