Senigallia old town has a variety of eateries for tourists to choose from.
While wandering around the old town, we stumbled upon Osteria Palazzo Barberini, a small restaurant with a charming vibe and a good menu.
Silvia Bollotta, the chef, prepared food that was locavore, slow, and local.
A menu that consists of six starters, seven main dishes, and two desserts. Among the three dishes we ordered, Parmigiana di Zucchini, Spaghetti alle Vongole, and Hamburger di Marchigiana, they were all generous in quantity, good in taste, and satisfying.
The wine list was eclectic with a great choice of Italian natural wines, French domains and wines that are off the beaten track. They also had a proposal of good cocktails, with or without alcohol. The alcohol-free Spritz they had was a winner.
The service was simple and friendly.
Palazzo Barberini is an affordable choice for a simple meal that includes excellent wines and cocktails.
